Objective

To improve the livelihoods, food security, and climate resilience of rural communities in Nepal’s hilly regions through the promotion of sustainable, inclusive, and commercially oriented horticulture development.

The NAFHA Project contributes to national goals of poverty reduction, agricultural transformation, and climate adaptation by expanding high-value fruit and nut production systems. It aims to enhance smallholder productivity, promote value chains, and ensure equitable access to resources for marginalized groups, including women, indigenous peoples, and climate-vulnerable populations. The project aligns with Nepal’s Agriculture Development Strategy and supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
